“I grew up with poodles and dachshunds. In 1986, at the age of 22, I got my first Afghan This is where my passion for sighthounds and dog shows started. The Afghan hounds brought me close to breeders and dogs Shows all over the world. In addition, I became active with club work in the Danish sighthound Club. For the next 40 years I got the opportunity to own and work with Lhasa apso, English Springer Spaniel, English Cocker Spaniel, and Bavarian mountain dog. I think dogs should be worked so I used the hunting dogs for hunting, tracking tests and blood tracking. However, I found my way back to the Sighthounds and the choice fell on Salukis from the Qirmizi kennel. The coat work with Afghans did not harmonize with my work, which over the years became more time consuming. I work in healthcare. Of course, I have also participated in lure coursing with my Salukies. In recent years, I have primarily showed Whippets – Sighthound of the year 2016 & 2019 Whippet “New Twist Da Roseira Brava” and taken part in club work in the Sighthound Club. In 2018, I started training on the first sighthound breeds and in 2021 was approved for group 10.”
